Abstract

All humans are born in a weak state, both physically and psychologically. although in a weak state, but he already has a latent innate ability. This innate potential requires development through steady guidance and care, especially for children because basically growth and development is a natural process that occurs in human life, starting from the womb until the end of life. Growth focuses more on quantitative physical changes, while qualitative development means a series of progressive changes as a result of the maturation process and experience. In the educational theory put forward by John Locke, there is the term tabularasa theory which views that humans are born like clean white paper which then completely depends on the writing that fills it, that the soul will be shaped and developed by its environment. But that does not mean that a newborn child is completely empty, because by nature, humans are creatures consisting of both physical and spiritual. There are two factors that influence the journey of humans to insan kamil (perfect humans), namely innate factors and environmental factors. These two factors interact with each other since humans are still in the form of embryos until the end of their lives. Humans are often called beings who can be educated and educated or educational creatures.
