Abstract

The background of this research is that in operational education it is the obligation of Muslims to always maintain and maintain the Qur'an, one of which is by memorizing it. But in reality there are still few Muslims who want to memorize the Qur'an. SDIT Baitul'Ilmi has special attention to learning Tahfizhul Qur'an. Tahfizhul Qur'an is considered by students as a difficult lesson, causing many obstacles. This is really very concerning considering SDIT Baitul 'Ilmi is an elementary school based on Islamic principles. The results of this study are the problems of learning Tahfizhul Qur'an and the solutions at SDIT Baitul 'Ilmi, namely: (1) the time factor; (2) Lack of doing muroja'ah; (3) Less use of media and learning resources; (4) Student Factors; (5) Factors of educators; (6) School environmental factors. The solutions to these problems are: (1) Adding lesson hours; (2) perform muroja'ah with several methods; (3) procurement of media, learning resources and utilizing existing media; (4) student factors; (5) Adding new teaching staff; (6) invites students to memorize outside the classroom such as the school yard, under trees and inside the mosque.
