UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGHAFAL AL-QUR’AN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIMA’I PADA SISWA KELAS V DI MI RAUDHATUL AMAL CIBITUNG - BEKASI

This research is based on the low ability of students to memorize in Tahfizh subject, as it can be seen from the learning process which shows the low mastery of student learning, so that the scores obtained by students are below the minimum completeness criteria that has been set by the school. The purpose of this study was to improve the memorization ability of fifth grade students at MI (Islamic Primary School) Raudhatul Amal. This study used Classroom Action Research, with research subjects in fifth grade consisting of 20 students. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that there is an increase in students' memorization skills before the action is classified as not good with an average of 59.75, and 25% of students who pass. Student completeness increased in first cycle with an average of 72.75, and 65% of students who completed. Learning completeness in second cycle is with an average of 80.25, and 80% of students who complete. Thus it can be concluded that the sima'i memorization method can improve students' memorization skills in the Tahfizh subject of Surah Al-A'la in fifth grade MI Raudhatul Amal Kertamukti Village, Cibitung District, Bekasi Regency.
